Anyone who grew up in Brooklyn has visited Nathan's at Coney Island at least once—probably many times.

When I finished this piece, I invited one of the family members who owned the restaurant to visit my loft for a preview. After studying the piece for a while, his only negative comment was that there was too much garbage on the street. Obviously, we had visited his restaurant at different times.
